This bracket uses the Pancake PCB backing plate to create a strain relief bracket that fits only the following parts to the Voron V0.2:
This bracket clamps the wires for the Pancake Board microfit umbilical, and can accept a 4mm cable tie.
This bracket stiffens up the tool head quite a bit, especially for the X direction. Shown are the before and after graphs for the X-axis for my V0.2. Disclaimer: Your results will be different to mine, but you should get a bump in frequencies!
Hardware
2 x M3 x 8 screws are used on the Bracket to X Carriage holes.
2 x M3 x 14 Hex (any material) are used as standoffs
2 x M3 x 25 screws are used for the rear cover (which is stock from the Pancake PCB github link).
Print Settings
ABS or higher temperature resistant material recommended to resist motor heat!
Supports are inbuilt into the model.
Voron stock settings, 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle, 4 walls minimum, 5 top and bottom layers, 40% infill.
