Title: Vintage Lincoln Log Single Wide Piece - 3D Printable Model

As a 3D modeling enthusiast with fond memories of various vintage toys, I'm thrilled to present my series of 3D printable Lincoln Log models. Growing up, Lincoln Logs were a staple of creative play, but the absolutely ludicrous cost of commercial sets often made them less accessible, prompting me to create an affordable, high-quality alternative. This collection is my answer to that - meticulously crafted models that capture the charm and simplicity of the original Lincoln Logs.

Design Inspiration: Frustrated with the poor quality and scarcity of existing 3D models for Lincoln Logs, I set out to create my own. Each piece is a labor of love, designed to replicate the classic Lincoln Log shapes and sizes as closely as possible. The aim is to bring back the nostalgia of these beloved building blocks, with the added satisfaction of printing them yourself.

Printing Details:

  • Material Flexibility: Suitable for a wide range of filaments, offering flexibility in material choice.
  • User-Friendly Printing: While these models do require some additional supports and I recommend printing with a brim for optimal bed adhesion, they remain straightforward and accessible. This approach ensures quality results, making the printing process manageable and enjoyable for both beginners and seasoned 3D printing Veterans.
  • Color Exploration: Embrace your creativity with colors! I encourage you to experiment and personalize your Lincoln Log set.

Included Files:

  • SolidWorks model file
  • 3MF
  • STL

Usage and Licensing: I believe in the open sharing of creativity. You are free to use these models as you see fit - whether it's for personal projects, selling, or remixing. I don't require any credit, though it's always appreciated. My goal is to contribute to the community and make these designs accessible to everyone, especially those who might not be familiar with 3D modeling.

Enjoy and Share Your Creations! I am excited to see the unique ways in which these models are used. Please feel free to share your creations and experiences, as we collectively revive the joy of building with Lincoln Logs.
