Our existing stocking hangers rusted in the garage since last winter, so my wife commissioned a new set.
The bottom of each model has a cavity for adding weights. Our solutions was to buy some cheap ball bearings and epoxy them in place (see https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YQP78DJ for some cheap bearings).
We printed them by laying them on their backs so that that face of the letter was parallel to the print surface. Depending on the amount of time you want to spend printing, you can add the following to the slicer to make them look better and work better:
We are a family of 6, so have the word NOEL and 2 extra stars to fill in the extras. We used a glossy/iridescent white filament and they look awesome.
Note: These models use the font from https://www.creativefabrica.com/product/home-christmas/ref/236854/, which is free for personal use, but you need to buy a license for commercial use. So, you can use these models for your own personal use, but would need to buy a license if you wanted to sell them to others.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
