Honda Fit Adjustable Cup Holder (and Pen Holder)

In the 2020 Honda Fit hatchback, there are two small spaces near the handbrake that have little use but to toss junk. I have created an adjustable cup holder and pen holder to better use this space. The base is hollow so it can be filled with some weight (epoxied in place).

Not all Honda Fits have these empty spaces, some have accessories. But if yours looks like the photo I have included that have one or two of the empty spaces, you can use this to make it easier to grab your beloved beverage cup. It is much better than the two provided cup holders hidden underneath the dash where they are hard to reach. The pen holder plate is a nice extra.

ADDED CHANGES AS OF 2/28/2024: I have added two parts at the end of the parts list. One is the Slider Base which replaces the separate Slider Base and Slider Bar. You no longer need the two little screws to connect them. Also, I added a new Slider Knob which is easier to grip and turn.

ERRATA: Note that the Slider Knob bolt should be 1-inch long, not ¾-inch long.
