After having problems with filament hanging up where it exits the splitter I wanted a design where the PC4-M10 connector could sit as flush as possible with the bottom of the hole. Most designs I've seen use a chamfer to make the model printable, but this creates space for the filament to wander just before it hits the MC4-M10 connector.

To fix this I used the forced bridging design trick to keep the bottom of the threaded hole as flat as possible and printable. I designed the model to print with a 0.12mm layer height, and slicing with a different height doesn't look like it will work.

I could also feel a lot of resistance pushing filament through the curved path, so I made one path completely straight to attach to the AMS and straightened the external spool path as much as possible.

The ends use PC4-M10 connectors. You'd probably be ok without one on the external spool inlet if you only have 2 spares.

*I had to clear the exit hole just a little by twisting one side of a pair of clippers in it to get the filament to exit the adapter smoothly.

I started the model from scratch based on enque's remix to try to make a couple improvements. I mostly referenced the model for dimensions and because I liked the aesthetic of it.

Changes

Added forced bridging into the geometry at the exit (single) side of the adapter instead of a campher for printability
Made the filament path coming from the AMS straight for less resistance
Made the ends a little thicker
Got rid of the writing to keep the outer wall simple
