The deterrent consists of 2 printed parts and 8 dangly legs you get from your local home improvement store.
The model is printed in white Prusament PETG without supports. The 2 printed parts are glued together - the thinner element into the wider (logically). Consult the pictures for precise application.
The dangly legs are thin plastic slats. The 8 dangly legs are inserted with sufficient glue into the foreseen slots.
Slats measurements:
You're done. All you need to do is possibly add shrink tubes at the end, so that it doesn't damage your roof cover.
The deterrent works very well, and saves you having to purchase an expense solution. The boat on which we fitted the seagull deterrent has wakeboard holders and a standard pylon on its roof. The boat in question is a Moomba Mojo - so this contraption will fit any Moomba standard ski pylon.
Since it's exposed to the elements, the 3d print won't endure many seasons. But it still beats spending hundreds of Euros on a commercial product.
