I made this dial indicator bracket that utilizes the LIDAR bracket for mounting to the print head. It uses (1) M4x15 socket cap screw w/ nut, & (2) 3mm heat-set inserts and the factory screws that hold the LIDAR on.
Note that the LIDAR bracket isn't the most ridged bracket in the world, so there is some flex to it, but it should be stable enough to work. You have to make sure you lift up on the cable track/chain when the print head is at the back of the printer, because it curls up and puts a decent amount of pressure on the head.
