Printing the clock was time-consuming but without complications. The Arduino program works perfectly. I have been using the clock for a long time, and it remains perfectly accurate. The ability to change colors and intensity is really fantastic.

This build is complicated. pay special attention to wiring, stranded 3 conductor wire is easier, and cut them to length, not much room in wire chases. 38 - 6mm x 8mm screws to bolt it all together. an Arduino nano will run this clock, with battery backup and a 5 vdc supply. i used then new Arduino with wifi, and my code was to pull the correct time off. the internet, for accuracy. also allows mw to code for special features like dancing lights and change colors for holidays and birthdays, and dimming at night. I used the legs for table top use. but unit hangs real nice on the wall. only requires the 3 wires to the display, so arduino and power supply separate. As you can see i added a third set of digits, hours minute and seconds, or month day year, or temperature in F and C at the same time. I had to modify only one wire chase. WiFi allowed me to pull outside temp from another project.

Hi,
just a note: I've removed the majority of my designs on thingiverse yesterday, this one is also no longer available from me. This is a repost from somebody else using the exact title of my design as other things (title photo etc), so please don't confuse this with my release. What's missing is the instructions - and they're now no longer available.
I'd recommend building the "Final Ones" which can be seen in some of the makes and are still available on Instructables. I'm considering adding some designs to printables, they've improved their interface quite a bit since I tested with my Lazy Grid v2-Upload....
Cheers and thanks to the ones posting makes, I just didn't realize this model on printables existed until recently.

I made this clock for my daughter after she picked it. The creator of this design has put in lots of effort and it shows. All the prints came out great and fit together perfectly. Documentation of the assembly and programming is fantastic. It took several days to print the parts but then only an afternoon to assemble. Only issue was my fault. Printed the diffusers is white (which looks great) but made the clock had to read in bright light. Reprinted in clear and clock is easy to read. I kept the white diffusers since I will make another of these in the future and in a lower lit room the white worked well.

The very first clock I made for my daughter was the Lazy Grid Clock v2 and I started in the XL version. Everything is so well explained, I really enjoyed building it. Everything is planned and nothing is left to chance. A big congratulations for this superb design and thank you for sharing.
