This is my second mould for use in the kitchen.
I felt I needed a Ravioli maker / mould after my intial creation of the Dumpling maker / mould available here: https://www.printables.com/model/656020-dumpling-maker-mould-updated-1212123
The Dumpling pastry cutter for the above is also available here: https://www.printables.com/model/660195-dumpling-pastry-cutter
This Ravioli maker / mould prints in place as a single print. When you remove it from the print bed, gently move it back and forwards a little at a time, until it folds closed… Then it is ready for use.
If you have any problems with it, then please let me know.
I have also made a Raviloi pastry cutter for it.
Use this to make a rectangle of pastry 45mm x 85mm no more than 3-4mm thick, just dont make it thinner as it won't seal and may split during cooking. The actual size of the finished ravioli is approx. 40mm x 40mm - the extra 5mm width is used in the well for the filling, so the 45mm x 85mm rectangle of pastry will end up 40mm x 80mm once filled and can then be folded.
The filling is approximately 1-2 teaspoons in size (of whatever you are using) to fill the ravioli properly. The 2 tabs that stick out are to help lift off the cutter and twist it to help cutting. They are also 4mm thick and can be used to put next to your rolled out pastry as a guide to make sure it is thick enough. The pastry should not be more than 4mm thick - The open top of the cutter is to make sure there is air above the pastry inside the cutter to ease removal after cutting.
