Sovol SV06 Extruder X Axis Mount

Edit: I've added two new models to attempt to fix the issues with the bearing bores being overly tight. The “SV06 X Axis Block 15.2mm” model is the same as the original but the bearing bores are increased to 15.2mm. The “SV06 X Axis Block 15.2mm Slot” model has 15.2mm bores and a 1mm slot cut into the back of the mount. Note, I have not tested these new models myself.

The stock extruder mount has a tendency to crack at the corners and eventually fail. This version should be stronger and stiffer than stock since it's mostly one piece. The dimensions match the stock mount as closely as possible while strengthening some areas. The rear two screws have the same spacing and position as stock, so you can mount most existing fan duct upgrades.

The bearings fit very tight, so once pressed into place there is no easy way to remove them. I used a rubber mallet and a 10mm socket to tap them into place.

Print with the back flat on the build plate. You do need supports, but only touching the build plate. You don't want supports in the bearing bores. 

After removing the supports I used a flat file to clean up the surface to get the belt cover to fit flush.

I printed with Overture PETG using the settings below. 
265C (printed hot for better layer adhesion)
25% cooling
0.12mm layer height
1.6mm shell thickness (4 walls)
0.96mm top and bottom thickness (8 layers)
Alternate extra wall
25% infill, gyroid
Normal supports, touching buildplate
80° support overhang angle

Parts needed:
3 - LM8UU bearings
5 - M3-8mm heat set inserts
2 - M3-8mm screws
