When we bought our Monopoly Junior there was a huge amount of loose plastic bags contained carrying all items like dice, cards, money, figures and so on. Storage of all the items in this plastic bags took some minutes after each game and so I wanted to get rid of this chaos (and to reduce the amount of damaged plastic bags after several played Monopoly games with the kids).
→ I designed two inset boxes:
Placing of the inset boxes in the original Monopoly Junior box:
The inset boxes can be placed at one side of the original paper case as you like to have it. The gameboard lays (when the inset boxes are inserted) on top of the inset boxes and no longer below the paper case or on one side of the paper case.
Advantages:
Now each player can take his own box out of the game package. The bigger box can be used as a kind of bank besides the game board. The sorting of all items after each Monopoly round takes now less time and the amount of plastic is reduced to zero (besides the used filament ;-)).
