Festive hollow d20 holiday ornament & dice

A festive d20 which works as a regular dice for when the festivities are done.

The ornament prints in two parts and is to be assembled with pegs. The dice was designed to be hollow and thus a perfect opportunity to add an (electric !) candle or threading christmas lights through it, making it glow nicely from the inside. It can be hung on your tree using whatever hooks you have or simply with a string.

With this ornament you are guaranteed to have nice, nerdy holydays!

This is definitely not an easy print. You absolutely need to use tree supports and make sure to not have the holes on the bottom of the smaller part supported!

I used 3 layers top & bottom as well as 3 walls. I only supported overhangs > 65 degrees, see the attached picture for how it looked like on the build plate. Support interface definitely will do a lot of work here, so it should be enabled.

A raft may be good if you struggle with first layers.

Once done, be careful removing the supports, start with the ones outside and then remove the ones inside. If the pegs don't fit, you can trim them down a litte bit, it should hold fine regardless.
