First thing I want to say is, you're going to be surprised how much force it takes to push these buttons down. If I turn this on its end and try and push all 4 down at the same time, it probably takes a good 25lbs of force to compress all 4 buttons at the same time(flip the main body upside down so all buttons are facing inward for the maximum pushback force.

This model will allow you to test a series of common clearances for print in place parts. Very easy overhangs over 60 degrees and clearances ranging from 0.10 to 0.30.

The button press tolerances increase as follows: 0.10mm, 0.15mm, 0.20mm, 0.30mm.

The case itself has a clearance of 0.25mm and the entire body portion should slide into the case with zero effort.

Print Settings:
-This is going to be up to you, the point of this is to calibrate your printer to be able to meet certain tolerances.

-For me, I just used the default print profile settings for a .4 nozzle running PETG with a .2 layer height. Total print took 1 hours 32 minutes for the tolerance test portion and 31 minutes for the case portion.

-I've also tested this with 3 walls only, 3 top, 3 bottom and 0% infill. Works perfectly fine for the portion with the springs. For the base, same settings but increase your initial bottom count from 3 to 12 so it prints solid.

If you're able to print this, once complete you'll have yourself a handy little finger grip exercise tool.

Finally, a calibration test you can give as a gift!

***UPDATE 12/06/2023***

-Added an option with looser tolerances. Found that some people aren't interested in testing their printers calibration and more so just looking for the hand grip strengthener itself. changed all tolerances to 0.25 clearance and rounded what I could to make the entire model more smooth. I also rounded/flattened the button portion of this one and removed the tolerance distance from the buttons to be easier on your fingers when pressing.

-This version's buttons are 3mm longer than the tolerance test, so the compression is even greater than the other model.
