Makes the printer very rigid!! I found that a small amount of vibration finds it's way along the y-axis and this was my of eliminating it. The way the ender's are built the middle extrusion almost acts like a pivot point to a small degree. One can grab the front near the belt tensioner and will find that there is a slight amount of movement if moved up and down. When the printer is printing if you hold on to this area a small amount of vibration can be felt. This eliminates this issue completely!! This mod is meant for a remote electronics enclosure. I'm sure one could mod this further to accommodate the electronics within the frame possibly.

The two or three 250mm 2040 extrusions like I have mine can be found on amazon as well as all the brackets. The front and back plates use a combination of m5 and m4 size screws as well as the Tnuts etc. There are 4 spacers I recommend printing out of TPU that go behind the front and back plates. I used 7 walls and 50% infill for stiffness. I also reccomend these be printed out of a low creep and high rigidity plastic for example ABS/ASA.
