Shim for setting outlet box in 1/2 inch drywall

A shim to make 1 gang electrical boxes with depth tabs at 3/8 inch sit an extra 1/8 inch away from the stud.

Print with high infill (>50%). I suggest using a brim as well since it's tall and skinny.

The base is 1 inch tall, so set the shim 1 inch below where the bottom of the box would normally go.

For V2, the base is ½ inch thick to act as a drywall thickness guide. The box should be flush or slightly behind.

Works LHS or RHS of the stud.
