I like the idea, but have you tried putting any weight on it? Which material is best suited for this?

@prints_n_wonders Thanks for the answer. I will print it out. Would you mind adding some details on infill % etc. I was also thinking that printing it in TPU filament could be quite intereseting and probably never break.

Was there a reason you rounded all the corners?

@ElectricFjord I'm very pleased that you want to start a test print. There hasn't been any snow here in my area for 20 years :) so I can't test it.

Regarding the round corners: The cover photo is a bit confusing because the SnowGrip 3000 is shown upside down. The flat side is, so to speak, at the bottom and has to be pushed under the tire. To get as far under the tire as possible, the edges are rounded in the direction of the tire. However, when starting, the tire presses against the unrounded edge and immediately gains traction. Pointed teeth would result in too much pressure and thus abrasion or breakage. The pattern on the other side of the SnowGripp 3000 is the exact opposite and clamps down on the snow.

About printing: Unfortunately, I can only estimate here, but I would print like this.
ABS | 0.16mm layer height | 4 wall loops | 30% Infill Gyroid | Support tree

I hope I did not forget anything. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it prints well :)

It can also be used to clear snow from around your tires, such as a shovel would! I love the concept and your marketing as well! Thanks for sharing! I'll be confidently rolling with the SNOW GRIP 3000 in the soft mud and sand too!

@3dt3ch_332164 Wow, what a revolutionary use of SNOW GRIP 3000! Move over shovels, we're here to redefine multitasking. Thanks for taking SNOW GRIP 3000 on this adventurous journey! (edited)
