After making my original ER7206 vertical stand, I decided I needed some for other devices, so I recreated the model to be fully parametric in Fusion 360.
The minimum you need to create a new size is the depth and thickness of the device you want to use the stand for, however there are several other parameters that can be modified:
My original model (and several of the ones included here) have angled edges on the top of the holder. This was to allow easy printing upside-down without supports. I have since discovered that dimensional accuracy is not the best printing these upside down so have switched to printing them right side up with supports. Since there is no benefit to the angles when printing this way, I have added an option to round them over. If RoundOver is set to non-zero, the tops will be rounded as they are in the harddrive_rounded model.
These models have been made using a variety of settings and a screenshot of each parameter dialog is included with the photos.
The attached examples are listed with their depth and thickness dimensions so they can quickly be identified as fitting other devices of the same or close sizes.
Note that the stands will require rubber feet be removed from devices if present.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
