This is a simple square mount that allows a filter to be added to a PS3Eye cam.  A common use for this is when building an IR LED head tracker, where a piece of floppy disc or exposed film can be used to filter out non-IR light.

I tried the original design by Juan G.G. but found (like someone else who commented on his model) that it was too small to fit my own PS3Eye cam.

I don't know how many different versions of the camera there are but on mine the lens part tapers from a diameter of 23mm down to 21mm and is around 16mm in length.

My remix is based on this size and is tapered accordingly.  It's also compatible with the additional sliding part in Juan G.G.'s design (although I may just end up sticking my filter directly to the filter mount).

For reference, my camera has a model of ‘SLEH-00448’ but I don't know if that is specific to a particular design.

Printed on a Sovol SV06 using some black PLA purchased from Sovol. This is my first 3D design and was my 4th print including the benchie :)

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Increased the size of the cylindrical part and made it taper to fit the dimensions of the particular PS3Eye cam that I own.  Also increased the size of the base plate slightly but it's still compatible with the sliding part in Juan G.G.'s original design.
