I never bought the Lee Case Collator, but kept hearing how much easer it makes loading the case tubes on the Universal Case Feeder. So, what do you do when you have a 3d printer? Design your own and print it!

My design is a 2 part design that consists of the pan and the tubes adapter. I took a multi-part approach to 1) minimize the need of support material during printing and 2) build in modularity to allow tuning for different cases diameters. The small pistol tube adapter has only be tested with 9mm, but should work for any brass with similar diameter. The large pistol tube adapter should support larger pistol brass 40sw/10mm/45ACP. NOTE: you may have issues with longer pistol brass.

The two parts are designed to be assembled using a #6 screw. The cross bar in pan serves as an index and anti-rotation mechanism to keep the pan from spinning on the adapter.

Feel free to remix, and add different adapters to suit your needs!

Print Settings

Set resolution to 0.2, infill density to 15%, wall count to 4, and your top and bottom layer count to 6.

I strongly recommend printing in the orientation shown in the images where the objects are grey. This will provide the greatest strength and orientate for easiest printing. Set build plate adhesion type to skirt is adequate. Set the infill to Quarter Cubic, if using Cura.

Post-Printing

Depending on your retraction settings, you may have to clean up some stringing or blobs.
