I'm building mine and just a question regarding the monitor assembly. Is that internal connector between the front and the back supposed to be glued in place? The screws at the top hold the front to the back nicely but the bottom is sprung apart just a hair. I've filed and sanded the part to minimize the gap as much as possible but there is still a little bit of a gap. I supposed I can glue it, but I'd far prefer to be able to open it up if there's a need to service the screen.

It seems to me it would be better if there were a couple screws for the bottom as well to hold it together.

@TimGood_571259 V2 has now been updated with additional screws in the bottom of the monitor as well as a new connector piece that allows the monitor light to be easily printed in a different colour.

How did you manage to fit the 40 Pin inside the case?
Im currently trying to build it and it wont fit inside the case half the pins stick outside the monitor shroud/print.

@fantasticmrda_133107 I got it to work, I think one of the pins was not making direct contact with the raspberry pi board. Great Design and Print, appreciate the help!

@numindast_274032 how did you manage to get the screen rotated? Spent ~4h trying to do that on a raspi4, no dice...

@fantasticmrda_133107 very interesting. I'll have to try after the holidays. Thanks man.

So cool, thanks for making this model! Access to the sd card slot is a bit of a pain.

Lovely easy build. The screen has super fragile glass, beware. This is a utility Pi for me and maybe I’ll do some RetroPi on it. Stinks that the LCD is upside down and doesn’t fit the other way. Woulda been nice. Otherwise I really love the attention to detail. Would be awesome to fit an actual fan. I toyed with fitting real LEDs but it’s too small for me to manage.

Really great one, but after I've printed it, it came out that the LAN and USB ports are inverted, as I use PI 3V1.2.
here my remix to fit Pi 2 & 3

What controller would work to use for the games? First timer here…

@Wk023_1112924 I don't know about DOSbox, as the designer documented, but I would think you can run RetroPie and use any controller RetroPie supports. There's another RPi suite called Lakka that does retro gaming on the Pi too but I have no experience at all with it.

Appreciate the insight! I looked into RetroPie as an alternative and will probably start there. Thanks again.

Do you mind sharing the STEP files? I have a different use case and need to add an additional cut out. My Pi is sitting on top of my printing enclosure and measures the particulate matter with an additional sensor which needs to suck in air. It would nicely fit the remaining space in this case.
