This weekend one of my cats forced my NR200 pc to shut down while she was lounging on her “cat warmer” that I call my gaming pc.
So I immediately sought to remedy that by making a button cover, because I know better than to try and train my cats to not be on a tall warm place.
All the other covers utilize the front usb ports for alignment and retention, but I need easy access to those still. So I created a cover that clips to the edge of the case for it's primary rentention and leaves space for both usb and the headphone jack to be accessible.
Bonus points for the power button being kinda accessible, but not easily pressed by a cat paw.
Only adjustments I'd likely make in the future would be to either lengthen it to be a full front clip-on including the curved, or to shorten it so it's focused over the front IO
I made this in OnShape, so the file is freely available if you look for a NR200 power button cover.
Note: My pc case's front panel rim is 2.2mm, so the retaining gap was designed as 2.15mm. I just checked a white front panel and it's 2.48mm, with the current model not staying on it.
