This housing is built to accept a 90mm PC fan and a very specific but cost effective HEPA filter. Once assembled and placed in your enclosed printer area, it will remove particles in the air that would otherwise escape and possibly make it into someone's lungs. While HEPA filters are not designed for ultra fine particles, it should remove at least 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 micrometers (μm) in diameter. The filters are available on amazon as a six pack for $13, which should last you a lifetime. The amazon description is "Cabiclean 6-Pack 86889 HEPA Filters for Sears Kenmore Vacuums & Panasonic Uprights Vacuums". The pictures are shown with a silent NOCTUA 90mm fan, which honestly didn't flow much air. Instead if you search amazon for "Bgears 90 mm 2 Ball Bearing High Speed High Performance Fan" you will find a cheap fan ($11) that flows a TON OF AIR, and this is the fan I am using now with great results. It has bolt holes for mounting on a 3030 rail. It fits perfectly INSIDE my QIDI I-mates off to the side, or it also bolts to the vertical 3030 extrusion in my RATRIG vcore3 400 as shown.
