I'm remixing some of the Curta 3:1 parts to be multi-material printable, in particular the parts with lettering etc. I'm opting to go with additional models to be used as "modifier" meshes to change the extruder, because F360's STL brep tool doesn't like the number of faces they have when doing intersection/cut operations- Beware of this - otherwise your slicer may try to double extrude in the same region if you designate them as parts instead of modifiers!
This is a WIP, but apart from the upper outer sleeve, I have already printed the parts successfully. Future updates will only include parts that I have actually printed and not just "in-theory". Print as per original, just set up your filament profiles and extruders as desired. I used white and black PLA+. My printer is a Mk3S with a skelestruder and MMU2, you should make any adjustments to suit your own printer/filament when using the 3MFs
I've added AMFs which are pre-plated, or you can use the STLs as modifiers to change the extruder for the respective regions on your own parts.
### Notes:
Selector shaft top: the key slot should be aligned such that its long dimension is parallel with the spaces between 2-3 and 7-8.
The digits cover modifier should bisect the small holes between the separate items. You can raise or lower it as desired, I printed mine flush with the inside top, you could make it flush with the bottom of the outside rounding if desired, or just a few layers to cut down print time/toolchanges.
### Changelog:
Nov 3, 2019: Initial publish of STLs and (3/a)MF plates.
