Boudhanath is a stupa (a buddhist mound, usually containing relics) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located about 11 km (6.8 mi) from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal.
As of 1979, Boudhanath Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along with Swayambhu, it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area.
Different Newar buddhist, Tibetan buddhist, and Hindu sources date the origin of the structure between ca. AD 400 - 600 CE.
The April 2015 Nepal earthquake badly damaged Boudhanath Stupa, severely cracking the spire. It was fully repaired in 2016 (from Wikipedia).
In 2015, all profits from downloads of this model in Pinshape.com were donated to UNICEF Nepal Relief. Donations were matched by government and corporate sponsors, meaning donations were tripled. After some fundraising period, this model became free to download on Pinshape and it's now available too here on Printables.

No supports.
No brims or rafts.
Print slow, such as 20mm/s outer perimeters.
Mid-density infill recommended (such as 20%), due to the large flat surfaces, unless your printer can handle bridging well with cooling fans and many top surface passes.
