Normally Id avoid uploading a design ive changed so much at all let alone as a remix but with the satin sheet, MK4 quality and decals I wanted to share it for other people to have the same success.
Altered the design a little to look a little more like the retail version along sizing to fit on a MK4 Bed, to use less support material and orientated to take advantage of the satin finish of the build plate.
The designed still uses the original models recommended straps and rivets.

1) I brought the sides closing into the middle to closer match the proportions of the retail version. (tried matching pictures)
2) I cut the top and bottom into pieces to use less support material and to take advantage of the satin finish of the build plate on the top. Because of this I use M3 threaded inserts and various M3 screw sizes. (I printed my top parts in 80% infill to avoid light shining through and the infill being visible. The front part was also the only part I sanded and the magnet cover were the only parts I sanded.
3) I redesigned the sides to incorporate the hinge featured in the retail version (taking away the original models hinge) and distend the sides to match the details of the retail version. I took advantage of the detailing to also use the holes for attaching the sides to the box by M3 crews. The hinge also uses 2 m3 washed on each side id also recommend loctite once to have the desired tightness. (I personally prefer the tightness to where the lid says open by itself. also, glue to red parts into the sides.
4) I thicken and altered the original red twist lock handle to included 4x4mm magnets to attract to the 10x1mm magnets that I glued into the top part of the box. The magnets slide into the holes on the underside of the latch. ( make sure to get the correct polarity! I reccomened glueing the 10x1mm magnets into the lid first.)
I've included to SVG files for the constellation logo and the text labels. I personally used clear printable sticker paper and printed the labels with an offset around the text. I used matte sticker paper for the logo.
(I'm waiting on gold filament for the sides but ive printed and tested everything together. I'll post a picture once I finish the sides)
The author remixed this model.
I've added the print files for parts that need support to help match my success.
Uses M3 heat inserts and M3 bolts
