ℹ🛠What would life be without Leatherman multi-tools ? 🛠

Let's be honest, they saved us from trouble many times.
I recently ordered a Skeletool and tend to use the bit driver fairly often. But I could find myself limited by the bit capacity of this tool, as it is only able to pack 2 of them.

Where's that 2.5mm Allen bit ? Yikes, you lost it again !  😖

Well, not this time with thanks to that amazing 4-in-1 keyring dual bit holder ! 🪛

The design is fairly simple and consists of 2 parts ; a base and a lid that screws on top.
The integrated keyring eyelet allows you to hang it to your keys, or anywhere else you might find it helpful. 🔑

The model allows you to pack 2 double-sided standard Leatherman bits. Thus bringing 4 drivers in one go. 🤯

Do you need even more ??

Then you could print a second keyring, and even color-code them based on the type of driver ! 🤠

The holder is very compact, as it's smaller than a AA battery ! 🔋

  • 12.7mm diameter (which means it would technically fit a .50 BMG barrel 👀)
  • 48.0mm height (with eyelet, closed) 🤏

And that's basically it. It's very straightforward and simple, I actually can't believe I am the first person on this planet who have thought of such a design until now. 🤔

The parts have added grips so it's actually easy to open bare-handed, yet provides enough friction to avoid accidental openings in your pocket. 🤓

ℹ The part is NOT a remix as I designed it from scratch (Fusion 360 source file is provided), but is inspired from blecheimer's Mini Bit Driver Keychain

⚠ Please note that the tolerances are a little on the tight side, so you may want to upscale the model a bit to ensure correct fitment. I personally went for 108% and the bits fit perfectly, as well as the threads. You may need to reduce this a little bit, as the filament I used for the print was fairly wet and thus made a ton of strings that were a mess to remove.
