A mount for a usb webcam I bought of aliexpress.
I originally designed this a few years ago, but for a IR RPiCam and with 2 servos to control the angle.
I never released the original design because I didn't find a easy way to use the servos with our common interfaces.
I just used them to hold the cam and positioned it manually.
Because I changed to a btt manta board and a btt cb1, the new design works for a usb cam I bought of aliexpress and has a balljoint to position the cam.
It uses exklusively m2x10 self tapping screws used by voron, because I didn't have the space for m2.5 or m3 with heatset inserts.
There is a mount for the cam, a mount for a usb-module and a microfit mount for the bottom.
Why? The USB-Cable provided with the cam is to short, so you can plug it in to the usb mount for the side.
As I didn't want to make new holes to the frame, but I did want to be able to remove the bottom without unscrewing unnecessary parts, you can put microfitx4 connectors in the usb cable to your pi or cb1 and disconnect the cable using them.
The Webcam mount gets secured to the x/z mounts and screwd in with the 3d printed nut from behind.
I would recommend a piece of tape as well.
Unfortunately it is very fiddly to screw the nut over the mount, but it can be done ;)
I don't know the exact usb-module I have anymore but should be something like that (USB 2.0): https://de.aliexpress.com/item/4000016008369.html
The Camera is this one: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005005909750422.html
You will need support under the ball joint on the arm!
Everything else should be fine without.
