I wanted to mount my LED strips in my 3d-printing cabinet, but I found the lights to be a little too harsh. Therefore I made this.
The dimentions of my LED strip is 12mm wide and 2mm tall. I made the mount with a little leeway, so you can probably get away with a little bigger stip :)
The diffuser is not only for diffusing, but it can also hold the strip in place. I printed mine in clear, transparent PLA, but you can use white or something else.
The diffusers have specific slots that hold them in place, except for the corner-piece. There you have to use glue or something else :)
There are two types of straight mounts. One “normal” (normal_change_length_as_needed.stl) and one with space for an optional cable to run through the mount (normal_with_cable_change_length_as_needed.stl)
For the corner_piece_with_cable.stl and corner_piece.stl , these were probably a little too short. So if your led-strip is a little tall/thick, you should size it up a little in the Z-axis. The one with a cable-cutout is if you want to feed the cable through to be used with the cable-holder-mount.
Let me know if there is anything missing or anything needing of fixing.
NB!
Mount using doublesided-tape, preferably something strong like gorilla-tape :)
