I'm using a 6x6 tactile micro switch button from amazon and dc plugs for easy connect/disconnect. This design is more compact and closer to the height of the nozzle. just slide it to the back of the carriage.

I cut the 2 pins so that the switch can sit properly inside the slot. I connected nozzle wire to a female dc connector and secure it somewhere above the carriage. Soldered a wire to a first pin that I'm gonna use to a male dc jack connector. Soldered a longer wire for a second pin and used the old usb connector from the sticky plate.

This is a combined ideas that I got from 3DEDDY and GreyAlien's designs.

note: do not heat up nozzle when using this
