Description

PDF

A case for the 6 column corne keyboard, with various tent (4° to 12°) and tilt (-8° to +8°) angles, as well as a flat version. Tested to fit a v2.0 Cherry PCB (pictured), although I believe it should fit a v3.0. The pictures show the 8° tent with 4° positive tilt.

Required Parts

Use the top plate, standoffs and screws from the standard fr4 kit (e.g. https://mechboards.co.uk/products/helidox-corne-kit). While it can be used without, you may need some stick-on rubber feet depending on your desk pad. I find drawer bumpers (such as https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08QHXTWSC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) work well.

Printing

Choose the tent and tilt angles you want, and then mirror that model in your slicer to give both the left and right halves.

To make sure the sloped top surface comes out well:

  • Print with at least 3 top layers
  • Use at least 15% infill
  • Use 100% fan cooling

I like in printing in eSun PLA-ST, as this makes the finished case durable against drops, but regular PLA should also work fine. Materials which don't print spans well may struggle.

Notes

Tested to fit a typical TRRS cable, but if yours is particularly large or lacks much offset to the right-angle section then it may not fit.
