2 Bay Hopper for your garden railroad 1:29 Scale

Based on the common 3281cf 2-Bay covered hopper manufactured by TrinityRail.  

Additional items

260mm length of Aluminum trim channel for 3/8 plywood.  Hillman Model #11378 or equivalent. 

Screws:  leftover Kadee screws to fasten the bolsters to the aluminum channel.  #2 pan head for joining the hopper sections to each other and the shell.

brake chain I use 3x2x0.5mm

Kadee #907 couplers

6mm ABS rod for truck posts.

Wheels/Trucks - I use Kadee #974 A.S.F 100-ton Roller Bearing Metal Trucks

Bondo Spot putty and Rust-oleum Sandable Filler Primer to get the shell smooth.

1mm half-round plastic strip for simulated welds.
