Light Dependent Resistor enclosure to read smart meter using pulse counter

This model allows you to use a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) and an ESP8266 based dev board to track your households electricity usage by counting the number of times the LED flashes on your smart meter. Most smart meters flash an LED 1000 times per kWh of electricity used which makes this possible.
