Changed the model to fit my spindle bore of 55mm (~2.164 inches) and made bore easier to change for others. More could still be done by others to auto select a thread diameter based on body diameter.
labeling the timeline to make it easier to navigate and dissect
modified all the sketches to draw mostly from user parameters
fully constrained all the sketches
cleaned up some weirdness in the dimensions(rounding, etc)
broke the individual parts into their own components instead of just being bodies.
reworked how the slots were cut and the wedge bodies are extruded to make it possible to dimension them separately for clearance
added more clearance for the wedges to slide
changed design to 6 wedges due to my larger diameter( pretty easily changeable in pattern on timeline now)
Changed fillets to chamfers to help with printability
Changed the thread to suit my needs. The thread still needs to be changed in the timeline since it is not driven off a dimension but rather a drop down menu. There are user parameters for the thread ID and OD which in turn update the bore of the body and the shaft diameter of the forcing screw.
It is still far from perfect, but hopefully you can continue to build off these improvements.
The end result for me was a functional part with minimal post processing. I did run a tap thru the body to clean out the female threads and cleaned up the forcing screw taper with a file to remove burrs from seams.
