Update: GCODE files are up and running, easier to print!
This is a Modular Marble Run Accessory made for the Cooler Master QUBE 500 PC Case. It includes multiple pieces that can be printed to create your own fun marble run. Every piece is print in place and requires no further assembly, including the elevator conveyor belt!
All pieces have been designed to print on the Prusa MINI, meaning that everyone one can join in on the fun! All pieces have been printed and tested, satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!* (*to a maximum of £0 as this file is free to donwload)
Each piece has been designed in either a Left and Right versions “L&R” (which includes a left version “L”, meaning the marble runs from left to right, and a right version “R”, meaning the marble runs from right to left) or a universal version “U” (meaning there is only one version of it which can be used either the left or right direction)
The pieces included in this entry are:
Straight Half-pipes: useful for connecting from one piece to another. They come in a short, medium, and long lengths. (L&R versions)
End Pots: End pots for your marble to rest in, Small and Large versions (U)
Tilter: allows you to make a dual path that changes each time a marble drops onto it. (U version)
Spiral: watch your marble spin around, hopefully it won't get dizzy! (both clockwise and a conter-clockwise version, both U versions as they have hooks on both left and right)
Funnel: another way to have your marble get dizzy, and a little flushed too (L&R versions)
Dual funnel: Life the funnel, but this allows you to add a splitting path in your marble run! (L&R versions)
Slow-pe: a sloped winding path for your marble to lazily roll downwards. (L&R versions)
Jump: watch as your marble attempts a death defying leap! (L&R versions)
Catapult: your marble is a dare-devil! Load up your marble and either use a pull string or the finger tab to shoot him through the sky. (U version. This piece comes with a Hook that attaches to the QUBE500 case and the catapult attachment, which allows you to swap it around.)
Hoops: want to make the jump or catapult even more impressive? Add a hoop and a flaming hoop for your marble to jump through! Or add a target and see if you can hit the bulls-eye! (U version. This includes a Hook that attaches to the QUBE500 case and 3 attachments that can slot into the Hook: hoop, flaming hoop, and target.)
Benchy Elevator: Are you too lazy to lift a marble from the bottom of the run to the start again? Why not have it travel in style with the Benchy Elevator! Rotate the Spool-gears and watch as Benchy lifts your marble to new heights! This includes four files which are all needed to create the Benchy Elevator: Spool-gears Top and Bottom* (L&R versions); Conveyor 10-link Chain** (U version); Conveyor Chain Rod (U version); and the Benchy Platform (U version). Each of these pieces prints in place and requires minimal supports. You just need to combine the Conveyor 10-link Chains together with a Conveyor Chain Rod, and slot a Benchy Platform in the Conveyor 10-link Chain.
Conveyor Top-Pot: To be used in conjunction with the Benchy Elevator, lets your marble dismount the Benchy Elevator in style (L&R versions)
Road to Benchy: To be used in conjunction with the Benchy Elevator, lets your marble slide into the benchy. (L&R versions)
* The Spool-gears are fully prin-in-place as an L or R version. Spool Gear Top has no handle, allowing space for the Conveyor Top-Pot, and the Spool Gear Bottom has a handle, allowing you to move the elevator. If you print Spool Gears L then the Benchy Elevator will go on the left hand side of the case, and you will want to print the L version of the Conveyor Top-Pot and the R version of the Road to Benchy, and the Benchy Elevator piece will be palced facing up on the right hand side of the chain as the Conveyor chain will rotoate counter-clockwise (and vice versa for the Spool Gears R)
** You will need to print a total of 4 chains to connect from the top of the case to the second to last rown on the bottom (allowing space for the Benchy Platform to rotate)
I've provided the I've provided the GCODES for you to start printing, but I've also included the 3MFs (but they're a bit messy…)
Well, what are you waiting for? Go print your marble run!
