Cooling Fan for DJI Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro

Um die 250g Abfluggewicht zu erreichen hat die DJI Mini 3 und 4 keinen aktiven Lüfter verbaut und wird nur durch den Fahrtwind im Flug gekühlt. Daher wird sie beim Betrieb auf dem Boden schnell sehr warm. Dies kann bis hin zur Hitzeabschaltung der Drohne gehen. Daher habe ich diesen Lüfter konstruiert, um das Überhitzen der DJI Mini 3 und 4 Pro Drohne im Betrieb im Stand auf dem Boden zu verhindern.

Die Luft wird direkt oben in die Lüftungsschlitze auf der Oberseite der Drohne auf die darunter befindliche Heatsink geblasen und die Wärme gut abgeleitet.

Gedruckt wird das Gehäuse in zwei Teilen, die anschließend mit etwas Sekundenkleber verkelbt werden.  Um den 40x10 Lüfter anschrauben zu können werden noch zusätzlich 4 Schrauben M3x10 benötigt und 4 M3 x4x5 Einschmelzmuttern.

Als Lüfter verwende ich einen 40x10 5V mit USB anschluss. Die gibt es so schon fertig.

In order to achieve the 250g take-off weight, the DJI Mini 3 and 4 do not have an active fan installed and are only cooled by the wind in flight. Therefore, it quickly becomes very warm when operating on the floor. This can go as far as shutting down the drone for heat. Therefore, I designed this fan to prevent the DJI Mini 3 and 4 Pro drone from overheating when operating while standing on the ground.

The air is blown directly into the ventilation slots on the top of the drone onto the heat sink below and the heat is well dissipated.

The housing is printed in two parts, which are then glued together with a little superglue. In order to screw on the 40x10 fan, 4 additional M3x10 screws and 4 M3 x4x5 melting nuts are required. I use a 40x10mm 5V fan with USB port.
