Shoelace Spool

The spool is designed to hold laces up to a maximum length of 160cm, such as those used in AJ1 and AF1 shoes.

The holes for the lace tips are 3.7mm in diameter.

I created this model to neatly store my Jordan laces by winding them onto the spool.

The middle plate comes in two versions: one with a hook and one without.

To use it, insert the lace tip into the center hole, lay the lace flat, and start winding it up. You can use your thumbnail to secure the middle part in place and then spin the outer spool to wind it up.

Tip: To prevent the laces from sticking due to surface friction while winding, consider sanding the top surface of the middle part just a tiny bit.
