I got tired of plugging in a USB drive and waiting to see what's on it only to find that it's not what I'm looking for. Floppy diskettes had labels; so, why shouldn't USB drives have labels?
Since a stick on label wasn't practical, and every USB drive is made for a keyring, I made a key tag ID for each of my USB drives. I tried to anticipate the most commonly needed USB ID tags and created them to be 3d printed when needed rather than needing to edit them first.
If you need a label ID that isn't included, just import the STL into Tinkercad, remove the text, and add new text, export, and 3d print.
