Neptune 3 Max Cable Chain/Snake

A Cable Chain/Snake for the Neptune 3 max.

All parts printable with no supports, no tweaking needed to fit.

You don't need to buy any extra bolts or pieces. 

List Needed to print:

1x Printer Snake X-Holder

1x Chain 90Deg mk2 + 1x Small Clip

Any number of Chain Pieces + Clips as needed.

Printing guide:  (1mm Nozzle, 0.25 and 0.7mm Layer heights tested)

1. Parts should be printed with the “ears” of the clips the highest point of the model. Printing         all the pieces in this orientation guarantees the plastic shrinkage and inconsistencies of             your printer match for each part, meaning each one should clip onto the others without             problems! 
2. Printing in ABS caused no problems with snapping of the “ears” of the clips, if yours are             snapping you might have very brittle filament, a more flexible filament should be used if             you can.
3. If a clip is added to the 90 degree piece on the extruder head the head might not be able to       home correctly! the tolerances here are very tight and might be different on different                   printers. It Also Might limit the height at which you can print but for mine it hits the stops         before it hits any of my pieces. 
4. If bed adhesion is an issue for you with these then try z-hop first, if that doesn't work then         try a brim! I didn't have issue printing all of these parts straight on the bed with old crappy       ABS, so if you have issues i would be surprised!

I got sick of printer parts not being able to be printed easily without supports and not clipping together properly because the parts that needed to clip together are printed in a different orientation than the other parts! 

So i made this chain completely from scratch with multiple iterations to get it just right.
