Marble Puzzle Cube

A color-matching puzzle, also known as Magic Bean Cube. Solve the puzzle or simply use it as a fidget toy. 

Note: only the middle segment rotates, the rest of the sides should not be twisted. The mechanism is my first attempt and it can be improved, let me know your thoughts!

Printing /assembly advice

• For the marbles: You can use regular 10mm marbles instead. I have designed these marbles so that this design can be printed without supports and minimum aesthetic impact. In my tests both halves of the marble could be assembled by hand without need of additional tools or adhesive. However, this might depend on the scale that you choose and your printer / material settings. I would try printing one marble first and deciding if you want to either adjust the scale of the pin, use adhesive if you have too much clearance or use a bench screw if you have a press fit. 
   
• For the cube: Do not continue reading if you want the assembly of the cube to be a challenge as well! However, if you want a tip, the edges of the middle segment are a bit flexible, so you can press the marbles into the gap once the rest of the cube is fully assembled.
