Update 1 - 17th October 2023:

Thanks for the feedback and the great prints everybody! :)

As expected some printers have troubles with connecting two stacks together, especially when they are not calibrated enough. I added a small chamber + fillet on the pins to allow the pins to slide in more easily. Just push it in as far as it goes until it sits tight. Leave a gap if it does not go all the way in to avoid breaking the holder or sand the pins down. Please let me know if that works!

Other then that I just cleaned up the bottom of the holder a bit.

Nothing changed for the top part and the clip. They are still compatible.

I maybe will redesign the pin completly to a kind of snap-clip version. I also had the idea to add a double-width version.

Stackable Bottle Holder

A stackable bottle holder to store your bottles of all kind nicely on top of each other. This way you save space in your cabinet, shelf or even your fridge.

The dimensions of one base element are 88.2mm x 88.2mm x 200mm (Width x Height x Length). Bottles for a diameter of up to 85mm are supported, which should basically fit every normal bottle.

It even fits wine bottles quite nicely, wheras I would not recommend to stack more then two, as they get quite heavy then. (Do that at your own risk, or if you are using a really strong material, as the walls supporting the whole thing are only 1.6mm wide!)

There is also a clip to connect two “towers” with each other.

Print settings

I used 3 walls, 15% infill with 0.2mm layer height and it printed fine. You may have to increase the top layers, infill or layer height depending on your printers capabilities to get the “bed” for the bottle right, as this is very prone to pillowing

The top part also has pretty steep overhangs, you may want to increase the layer height there or even add supports.

Installation

Just stack the elements on top of each other. The holes should fit exactly as long you do not print each element in a different material type (PLA, PETG, etc.)

The clip to connect two towers goes on one of the main supports. I found the middle one the best for this as it is not visible there afterwards.
