New housing for the KLUDI AQ-A shower head. The old one cracked after falling and started leaking.
I made a new one in two variants:
1. in one piece - more difficult to print and requires supports;
2. two-piece, with screwed handle, printed without supports and screwed.
Exchange description:
1. print the housing as a whole or in two parts;
2. on the original shower head, pry out the middle cap and unscrew the mounting screw;
3. move the "mode switch" up and down until the spray head comes loose and slides out - do not use a screwdriver as it is easy to chip. From the "mode switch" side, the head is inserted into the guide, it cannot be pulled out from this side, remove the head from the opposite side;
4. Keep all parts except the housing: head, screw, cap and gasket - they will be needed to assemble the new housing;
5. put everything back together in reverse order;
If you are printing a one-piece variant, everything must be firmly supported.
If you decide on the two-piece variant, place the handle vertically. Add some supports for elements that do not touch the table. This variant is much easier to print.
I am attaching the f3d file, I assume that Kludi uses similar solutions in its armatures. Maybe it can be adapted to other models. I also recommend an optional 3mm gasket for fi20 connectors. Sometimes it's faster to print such a little thing from TPU than to look for a plumbing store.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
