First, This is all Tinkerheart's design… with a twist.  This is also my first print in place.

I combined Tinkerheart's holder with Tinkerheart's clip with a swivel so the stethoscope stays  level with motion.  The clip, as stated, is good for scrubs, or pockets.  It is not really designed for a belt or thick objects.  The swivel works really well with the angled entry of a pocket should you clip it there.

I made the clip wider and rounder at the flex.  The swivel does add some weight but does not seam to make it uncomfortable.  This my second swivel version after I slimmed it down from the first version.   I left the rotary plate on the thicker side as it needs to withstand the clip flex pressure.  I also left the counter rumble strips to help keep the clip from turning on the clothes, or slipping off.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS.

  1. This is a BREAK LOOSE print in place.  There are 4 or so thin stands to support the beginning of the floating shaft and swivel.  After removing the external supports, hold the swivel plate and give it a good turn to the right (a rag might help in holding it).   If it is stubborn about breaking loose , push left and then right should help it break loose.  The swivel plate will only turn right from the print position as the swivel prints against the left stop.
  2. It prints great with a .4 nozzle and I have never had one weld solid.
  3. I print with 4 Vertical Perimeters ensure the clip prints mostly solid.  20% fill works since this is almost no infill.
  4. Prints fine in .2 mm layers.   I have not tested others.
  5. I have only printed it in PETG, but PLA should work fine.  I live in a hot climate.  PLA in cars easily turns soft in the summer heat.
  6. It does require some supports for the clip and the disk to print in a superior strength layer position.
    1. try not to send your supports up into the clip or between the swivel plate and the main body, or into the internal swivel compartment.

Thank you Tinkerheart for this great design.  My Family members that carry stethoscopes love it.

File version 6a.  I found a tolerance sliver (chad) on the internal rotary.  It won't render with a .4 nozzle, but I took it out of the STL in case someone uses a smaller nozzle that would allow it to actually print.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

This prints in place the clip and the holder with a swivel connecting the two.  No glue required.
