Hi guys,
here's my light art Bethlehem. This design consists of 8 1 mm thick layers underlit with warm white LED strip (you can use whatever LED strip even addressable RGB strip which can top it off) and has these features:
Layers infill is 100%. The LED strip I used has 60 LEDs per meter. Width of model is 159 mm height 171.5 mm. You may want to play around with Detect thin walls feature in slicer as it was sometimes not showing up thin parts in print preview (this applies to Layers).
The stand is printed without supports, you will need flat head screwdriver or small knife and slide it under the legs and wiggle it around edges to loosen it up.
The hole in the back lid is intended to fish through the strip with cable and then you cut the strip according to length needed and stick it inside the lip. Let me know in the comments if there are some problems.
I also added with and without hook versions of frame and back lid. I also added Back lid step files in case you want to modify it for your own needs. I also modified the model so the top layer(Layer0) is no longer spinning.
