This is a stand to display a few of your filament swatches. I use one for each of my AMS units so I don't forget what filament is in each, and so I can quickly pick it up and remind myself what a print will look like. I've created 4 slot and 5 slot versions for AMS and MMU respectively.
The filament samples I use are from the excellent projects markusdd Filament Sample Generator, which is based on Zahg Filament sample with box.
There is a large cutout in the bottom for adding weight to make it more stable. I use stick on wheel weights for this on many of my models; they are cheap and come with strong double sided tape pre-applied, ready to peel and stick. I also uploaded a version without the weight slot if you prefer.
As always, I upload the STEP and STL files, but you should print from the STEP and only use the STL to preview here on the web.
Printing should be pretty simple, I just use a standard 0.2mm profile, whatever material you want. You will need supports for the weighted version, you can just use automatic supports, or just paint/fill the top of the bottom slot. The quality doesn't matter too much since it won't be visible.
I created this model in OnShape and it is fully parameterized. You can customize it yourself here.
