This thing holds your Wildfire-S to your Bike's handle bar. Very useful when zeroing in on the general area of a geocaches location.
Actually, this is custom made to fit my Bontrager mountain bike with a 31mmx35mm tube. The idea is that it snaps right on without any cable wraps and can be easily snapped off again when not needed.
I don't have a printer at my disposal right now, so i just sawed and carved the parts from Delrin(TM) and they just happened to work perfectly. I reduced the bed part to just a thinnish slice though, which seems to be enough. The phone stuck firmly to the handlebar even over rough terrain.
This thing comes in two parts: The bed and the claw. The claw slides into the groove in the bed and is held in place even without glueing it in.
Attention, this thing hasn't been printed yet, so it might contain bugs.
The bed part is made to perfectly snap on my handlebar's stem (Bontrager RL). Yours will have different dimensions and you will need adjustments to the model accordingly.
If you are a fellow Wildfire-S user, i suggest you check out the Blender-File and adapt it to your stem dimensions.
PS:
I copied the exact outer shapes of my phone's irregular hull by bending solder wire snugly around the interesting parts and then scanning the bend wires in my flatbed scanner. Those scans i used as Background images in Blender while remodeling a mockup phone around which i then modeled the claw thing. Check out one of the scans in the images section.
