Eurom IR Heater Remote Holder

Description

This is a holder / wall mount for a Eurom IR heater remote controller.

The window on the front shows the EUROM-logo when the remote seated in the holder.

There are two screw holes in the back plate for wall mounting. One at the top and one behind the window. The window is too narrow for a regular drill head to fit though to reach the screw hole behind it, but a narrow bit or a screwdriver should do the trick. The design requires the use of countersunk screws for wall mounting, else the screw will stick out and the controller might not fit.

Dimensions of the remote control slot: 40mm wide and 21 mm deep

Printing

Printing in PLA, PETG or ABS should be fine fine without support, though there is one fairly large bridge at the top of the window. The walls are 2mm thick and with a 0.4 nozzle I found it prints best with 3 perimeters/wall loops - this will fill the walls completely with perimeters.
