Printed with 0mm top and bottom layers and 15% honeycomb infill.

The support strips were printed with default settings in PrusaSlicer for the 0,6mm nozzle but top/bottom layer infill set to hilbert curve.

I wanted something that prints fast (earch large part was about 15 minutes) and that covers up my stickers when I don't want people reading my lid all the time :)

To print faster, I left out the top/bottom layers and stuck some gift wrapper behind the lid.

I glued it together with UHU extra. As long as the glue holds, this model is a very good fit.

Thanks for sharing!

@panuh_2163581 That looks very nice! I love the idea of using the honeycomb infill, I'll have to give that a try. Covering up my stickers was my original motivation. Sometimes I just don't want to be noticed.

@NickLargent I thought that maybe the honeycomb shape could also be used to clip the parts together if they overlapped a little. But I tried and failed remixing it that way (as of yet, at least :) )

did you use and source CAD files for the laptop dimensions?

@thelonecabbag_207551 I didn't, but that would have been a great idea if I remembered they were available :) I just took a bunch of measurements the hard way.
