This tactical style case includes an O-ring seal to help keep your passport and other everyday carry items dry when your travels get wet. It probably won't keep watertight with complete submersion, but it should certainly survive a good downpour. It is designed to be worn on your belt. I've provided two different styles of belt attachment: a version of the lid with a closed loop for extra security, and a version of the lid with a belt clip for easier removal.
The O-ring seal is simply a length of 1.75mm soft TPU filament that fits into a groove in the lid. The groove is deep enough so that you actually use two seals on top of each other with the joints for the two layers counter-aligned. (You can also leave out the O-ring seal if you are a more fair-weather traveler.)
I printed this in PLA with 0.2mm layers. No supports are needed. Just print the base, the lid of your choice, and two of the latches. After printing, insert two lengths of TPU filament in the O-ring seal groove and then clip the latches onto the sides of the base. Happy travels!
