This model is a simple holder for shafted tools of some sort. It is meant to attach to the Honeycomb Storage Wall. It can be highly customized to whatever your needs are.
Three example models have been included.
This model requires the Updated OpenSCAD library for HSW attachments which you can find here: https://www.printables.com/model/542305-updated-openscad-library-for-hsw-attachments
Parameters include the number and spacing of holes, the number and spacing of inserts, hole diameter, etc. Here is a table:
blockDepth | This specifies in mm how deep the shelf should be. | 30mm |
blockHeight | This is the thickness of the shelf. | 5mm |
holeDiameter | Diameter of the tool holes. | 10mm |
numberOfHoles | The number of tools holes. This will determine the width of the shelf. | 5 |
numberOfInserts | The number of wall inserts to attach to shelf. | 2 |
insertDistance | The distance between the inserts in units of the horizontal spacing of hexagons in the honeycomb grid. | 2 |
holeDistance | Distance from the back of the shelf to the tool holes. | 20mm |
holeSpacing | The width between the holes on the shelf. | 25mm |
edgeSpacing | The width from an end hole to the edge of the shelf. | 10mm |
minkowskyVal | Advanced value. Affects the rounding of the edges. Default tends to be the best. | 2 |
Typical parameters you use for you HSW components should work. I print on PLA but you should use whatever material your wall is made of I suspect.
