This is a display mount for the BigTreeTech TFT50 touch display for Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro/Plus/Max series printers.
This mount replaces the included display and mount, and re-uses the screws from the original display mount.
There is room on the back to enclose a Raspberry Pi 4, and the back cover includes cutouts for GPIO pins, ribbon cables for the display and camera, USB and ethernet ports, and the power input. The 1.0 version of the cover does not include cutouts for the 3.5mm audio jack or mini-HDMI cables.
This has been tested with the V2.0 TFT50 display that has the brightness dial instead of the buttons. You will want to adjust the brightness before assembling everything else.
Klipperscreen works (almost) out of the box. If you install a mainsail image to your raspberry pi, via the official Raspberry Pi imager, you just need to follow the instructions for installing KlipperScreen and configuring it within Mainsail, the instructions for how to do this can be found here.
If you have not yet installed Klipper on your Neptune 3 Pro/Plus/Max you can follow this guide to get started. You will probably want to build and flash your own firmware (which is fairly simple if you use the built-in make menuconfig
command)
The author remixed this model.
Remixed the Sovol SV06 TFT50 mount for use with the Elegoo Neptune 3 series printers.
This modification uses the original screws and mounting holes for the included screens.
I have also added a rear cover to protect the Raspberry Pi if you mount it directly to the back of the display. There are cutouts for the GPIO pins at the rear of the display, as well as a cutout for the display and camera ribbon cables on the back.
